Empowering Deaf Communities Through Education & Opportunity

Learn about our journey, mission, and vision for a more inclusive Uganda

Our Story

New Hope for the Deaf is a legally registered organization under the NGO Bureau in Uganda, with registration number IDR165105824NB. We operate under the laws of the Government of Uganda, with a presence in Mubende, Kasanda, Mityana, Mpigi, and Wakiso districts.

Founded in 2013, our organization was born out of a recognition that deaf individuals in Uganda face significant barriers to education, employment, and social inclusion. Our mission is to empower deaf children and adults through education, vocational training, and advocacy, enabling them to lead self-sustaining lives and make meaningful contributions to society.
